Level 2 – Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of project plans and process documentation
• Being part in proof-of-concept buildouts for information security
• Contribute to the creation of product deployment roadmaps
• Contribute to creation of runbooks
• Contribute to the production and tuning of detection rules

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience working in site-reliability engineering, security engineering, DevSecOps, or system engineering
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Azure
• Experience with one or more languages – PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc
• Working knowledge of traditional networking and software-defined networking concepts
• Experience with two of the following technologies:
  – Cloud workload protection – CWPP/CSPM, CASB/SASE
  – Application firewalls – WAF
  – Identity Security – PAM, IGA
  – Orchestration & Platform Tooling – SOAR, Ansible, Terraform
• Demonstrated experience with running systems at scale.
