Our client is a provider of innovation technologies for the surgical community. The company’s goal is to provide innovative, high-quality products and service that will ensure the continued success of the company and the surgical professional well into the future. They are now looking to hire a:

Key Account Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of business within the territory, achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Work with internal peers and stakeholders
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with relevant customers and support them appropriately
  • Identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Develop and implement robust and effective account plans and ensure delivery to agreed timescales against key performance indicators
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments
  • Negotiate and close agreements. Monitor and analyze performance metrics
  • Manage local budgets according to local business plans, customer needs and changing business needs
  • Demonstrate product and procedure knowledge. Take a proactive approach for maintaining your clinical expert knowledge and your personal development plan
  • Maintain high levels of disease area within surgical specialty and continue to build your technical product knowledge
  • Ensure Integrity in Action is actively applied in all initiatives
  • Have excellent knowledge of, and ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Ensure that all administration tasks are completed and targets are met – Project plans, CRM system, expenses, customer records etc.

Requirements

  • BA, ideally within Life Science; Biology, Pharmacy, etc.
  • 5+ years of proven sales management experience
  • 4+ years Surgical Sales experience and working in Operating Theatres in Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Experience of working in hospital and theatre and observe surgical procedures is essential
  • Experience in selling Medical Devices is preferred
  • Experience of working in General Surgery, Gynecology, Cardiothoracic, Urology & Neuro surgical specialties and knowledge of surgical procedures in these areas is highly desirable
  • Experience in presentation and liaising with potential clients
  • Ability to rapidly understand and communicate technical information and clinical data
  • Previous Key Account Management implementation
  • Demonstrate successful influencing and interacting with Service managers in Acute Service to reach agreement for use of Surgical brands in theatres
  • Ability to gain market access through gaining positive formulary inclusion
  • Successful track record in exceeding sales targets in pharmaceutical or medical devices sales
  • ABPI qualified or working toward qualification
  • Fluency in French and English
