We are looking for a Data Engineer for our client which specializes in data infrastructure transformations and maintenance services with a particular focus and skillset in the cloud, data platforms, AI and ML:

Data Platform Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work in an environment where the team is fully capable of taking decisions, continuously learning new things, and building the most valuable data platform in Nordics.
• Applying your skills leveraging new architectures (Data Mesh), and fully cloud-based technologies (Snowflake, Kubernetes, Glue, Prometheus, Grafana) and act as an enabler for closing down legacy platforms at the same time build for increased data utilization.
• Work with a team that provides tools and infrastructure for data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to efficiently work with large amounts of data, discover unique insights, and present them in the best possible way.
• Work with stakeholders, users, and other teams to build, innovate, and continuously improve both our data platform, and our ways of working.

Requirements:

• Smooth communication in English (spoken and written).
• General knowledge of Data Engineering.
• Practical experience in at least one public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) – AWS preferred.
• Holds previous experience in building, improving, and monitoring data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for big data environments and enabling machine learning.
• Have good knowledge of Python, Java, SQL, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS (S3, EKS, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift), Spark, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• On Linux environment.
• Have an agile mindset and believe in the CI/CD way of working.
